Fireweed Station Inn

You never know when it’s all going to be over for the winter fun, so you better get out there while you can… 

We flew into a remote cabin last week, there was still plenty of good snow and thick ice on the lake.  Even though Fireweed Station is in the category of “getting away from it all”, it’s nice for us to get away from it sometimes!

Back in Talkeetna there’s still just enough snow for one last cross-country ski trip, but the bike trail has melted out dry enough for biking or even roller-blading.  But it just snowed this morning so I’d better remember where I put the shovel - It’s a confusing time of year!
